U.S. Marshals was released in 1998. It is kind of a sequel to Harrison Ford’s The Fugitive (1993), only because it has the same The Fugitive actors playing their original jobs with the same names. It can be viewed independently from The Fugitive.
What makes this a great movie is the acting and the dialogue, and of course the action. The actors are the same great ones from the The Fugitive and are very believable as members of the same US Marshals team. Tommy Lee Jones deservedly won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his acting in The Fugivite, and Tommy does a great job in this movie continuing that character, and all the others such as Joe Pantoliano and Tom Wood do as well.
The music score was by my favorite movie score composer, the late great Jerry Goldsmith
